MATERIALS AND SUPPLY CHAIN
I strongly believe the choices we make matter. MDK Jewellery is crafted with love and with the utmost respect for the environment. My mission is to create jewellery that is beautiful, ethical and mindful of the planet.
Precious metals and chains I use are recycled sterling and fine silver.

I work with UK based suppliers wherever possible to reduce carbon emission and to support local businesses.

I use natural alternatives to traditional jewellers chemicals where possible.

I'm commitment to circular production and sustainability.
PACKAGING
Almost 100% of my packaging comes from recycled materials and is either 100% recyclable, compostable, reusable or biodegradable.
My branded boxes are FSC®-certified natural cardboard and water-based glue. For an eco-friendlier filling of the boxes, I use either seed paper, recycled tissue paper or inserts made from Tall oil, which is a by-product of paper production.
Organic cotton muslin bags can be reused to store your jewellery when you travel. You will also receive jewellery cleaning cloth to keep pieces shiny on the go.

Care card paper is an uncoated stock made from 100% genuine de-inked post consumer waste, certified by FSC®. It’s processed chlorine free (PCF) significantly reducing water contamination from processing.
